This 'one stop' shop transport website was conceived and developed with the aim of helping people get to key services or other activities or attractions.

Many organisations including businesses, hospitals, doctors, schools, colleges and local Councils provide transport information to potential service users in various forms. However, often the full range of transport options are not provided, and in some instances the information supplied may not be appropriate for the intended user e.g. those with physical or learning difficulties or it may be in a format which people can not easily use. The purpose of this website is therefore to provide the widest possible range of transport information in a format that can be readily used by all people including those with varying abilities or their advocates.

This is a national website covering the UK. However, the intention is to develop a series of local websites for local authorities that can provide more specific information to help people access local services. One such website has already been created and is proving extremely popular with users and those who need to provide transport advice over the phone, such as hospital's PALS services.
